Shopping by the beach
The biggest shopping centre in all of Catalonia, Diagonal Mar is home to an array of shops and restaurants, and has a cinema, supermarket and outdoor seating areas as well. It opened in 2001 and today has nearly 200 shops spread out over its 3 floors. As it’s located quite near to the beach, it also makes a good place to get out of the sun and into some air conditioning if you need to.
It’s open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Monday to Saturday (most stores close on Sundays). After your shopping spree, stop by the Parc de la Diagonal Mar to enjoy some funky sculptures
